Body Space-Time [Love, Sex, Death, Desire] is an ongoing series of works that explores the body as a place in dialogue with its environment; a permeable boundary between the most intimate ‘inside’, and ‘outside’. It proposes the body as the first place of encounter and habitation that we are required to make sense of. The work explores the body as a metaphoric garden signifying difference; an apparent enclosure of space within space.
Referencing quantum theory, neurological science and the concept of the ‘super-stimulus’, Body Space-Time sets out to create an emotive and sensuous landscape of fantasy, utopia, oasis and promise.
The works are held in various public and private collections.
